W. W. Sawyer 1911

This one is really warped...

here are some quotes...

You should save your old shoes you never know when you will need to do some painting..

go figure..

I don't understand the new math..

The book is titled What is Calculus by W. W. Sawyer born 1911..
published by L.W.Singer Company
(c) 1961 I think it was probably printed in 1964 or 1965 because the teaching dates were updated in the front of the book.

This is figure 13 on page 21

wagon

weight

they are talking about the speed of medium to larger size objects but they never mention what happens when the waggon goes off the cliff (or table) where the weight is.. The quotes are making fun of rick waggoner or using rick waggoner to make fun of or maybe more accurately pointing out the problem g.m. is going to have.. He is there like a signal that things are going to be bad.. The front cover is a sine like curve with a black cutout shapes riding bicycles.

The author taught at many places including University of Illinois..
