bcx basic with codeblocks
Bcx Manual home page
I have been playing around with my bcx basic compile tool, this should work with any editor that you can add tools to not just codeblocks... It has to be under tools in codeblocks. It was built with python and wxpython 2.6 it is recomended in the distribution just to make a copy of python and wxpython and paste it in a directory in codeblocks. The batchfile is written as python app1. just those two commands the path of python has to be added to the command if it isn't run from the same directory Python and wxpython will change and there is no guarentee they will work in future versions. The compile tool was written in boa-constructer and the form can be edited there. to compile you add compile.bat as a tool and you would add bcx_gcc.bat as a tool. why you can't add stuff to the compile menu is anyones guess, the other anoyance is there is no sub-directories in codeblocks more on this as I stuff your tool-box with compilers (you can add stuff in the mystical way they add plugins though).
bcx gcc 'tool'
Error checking
I want to hear about any problems and bug fixes

codeblocks
I have been playing around with codeblocks.. You can modify the start_page by adding links to it.. it is just a web page in the start whatever file... It doesn't look easy to install or compile.. I downloaded the source and tried to compile the help plugin.. didn't work.. It doesn't seem to be easy to add compilers unless you add them to the tools menu... There looked like there was an effort to add pelles c at some point but it never seems to have made it to the ide.. bcx basic would look good in that but I don't know that I want to mess with code blocks
